What a month!

Since I started school things have been so different around my house. when I was home every day and Matt was at work, I ran the home.Meaning that I did laundry, dishes, dinner, lawn care, grocery shopping, and the girls Dr. appointments . Well that has changed! I get up in the morning pick something out of the freezer, get dressed, and wait for my wonderful mother in law to come down to put the girls on the bus. I go to school all day might come home and do a quick load of laundry, then I bury my head in my school books until a half hour before the girls go to bed. I get to hang out with them for a bit, then its off to bed for them If I have to study Matt will help me but then he heads to bed also. I sit up until 9:00 and then I am usually in bed shortly after that. I have handed my home over to Matt. He does it all, dinner, dishes, kids Dr. appointments even the shopping. Thursday Missy had an appointment with an allergist in Syracuse and Matt had to take off work to take her down. She had her skin test where they gave her 29 shots. I wish I would have been there for her, but I had 2 tests that day, and am only allowed to miss 5 days of school before I am kicked out of the program! So I have to thank my wonderful husband for being there for me when I need him. Without him I could not do this. I love ya Matt

The first day of school!

Tuesday was the girls first day of school. Hailey in third grade and Missy in Kindergarten. My day started at 6:20am when I woke up. I got dressed, ate some breakfast, then woke up the girls and headed to Watertown. Julie got the Girls dressed, hair up, and new earrings in. Missy was a little nervous. She was worried that she would get lost when she got there, or that she would get left on the bus. Hailey walked her to get breakfast, then to her room. After school Hailey stopped in and asked her teacher how Melissa did on her first day. The girls were both in bed and sound asleep by 8:30 that night and saying they love it.

The State Fair!

I took the girls to the fair today, they had a blast. When we first got there we ran into Barney. Missy thought that was awesome. She wanted her picture done right away. Hailey on the other hand said she was "way to old" to pose for a picture with him. My little Hailey is growing up! After the pictures we walked over to the Masons table. They were giving away child ID cards. Both the girls got their picture, height, weight, and even finger prints done. The local news station had a setup were the girls could pretend to be on TV. They recorded this to a jump drive for me, so cute When we were done there we made our way to the horse show, Missy was so excited. The 3 of us sat there and ate our lunch while we watched the horse jumps. She was a little upset to see them slapping the horses. I tried to tell her that was how they got them to do what they wanted them to do. When we were done there we headed over to the elephant and lion show. That was kind of scary. The lions were very hot and didn't listen very well! On the way to the smallest pony in the world tent the girls came across the hamster ball ride. They begged me to let them go on this. They got inside these huge plastic balls that were filled with air, and had to try and stand up. This was impossible! The girls kept falling all over the place. They stayed in those balls for about 15 minutes. After getting out they splashed some water on there faces and we headed to the train. This was an old train that they had set up for people to walk through. We started out in the first class cabin. A living room full of cozy chairs and couches. Then came the baby's bedroom, adult bedrooms and even a kitchens, All air conditioned of course!

After the first class seating was the regular seating. These seats of course were not air conditioned, and very close together. At the end of the tour came the gift shop. We were roped into buying 3 bottles of ice cold train water, and a patch for Grandpa. We headed home around 6:30pm. The girls and myself were ready to head home. We had a nice time, they came home went up to bed and so far I haven't heard a peep out of them.
