Is it really almost November?

I have been in school for the last 2 months and boy is it a lot of hard work! I go to school, come home and sit at the table in front of my books. Matt has been doing most of the cooking and cleaning. I have even started paying the girls to do little chores around the house. Hailey is always happy to do anything I ask, but Missy hates to do any hard work. That little girl is a stinker. The other morning Hailey made eggs for her sister. My she is growing up so fast.

The pumpkin farm

Matt and I took the girls to the pumpkin farm in Adams Center today. We had been planning this for over a week! My Grandmother took us there every year when I was growing up, I have numerous pictures of the three of us grandchildren in front of The Great pumpkin. Today me, Mat, t and the girls went to get our pumpkins. All Melissa had talked about was going in the haunted house. We were right there at the entrance and the girls heard a chain saw going off and that was it! There was no way they were going in there. We went through the corn maze and then got our pumpkins. When we were done we headed back towards Watertown. When My Grandmother and I went up there we always stopped at Talcott falls. So on our way to today The four of us stopped, I have never seen the falls moving so fast before. Matt climbed right down to the base of the falls, you could feel the water land on your skin. It was beautiful! We stopped for lunch, then headed to Halloween City. The girls had a blast in there, we couldn't believe the decorations and costumes they had. When we got home we put up a bunch of decoration. We are going to carve our pumpkins tomorrow.

Fall is in the air!

Matt found a trolling motor at work on Monday, he was excited to see if it worked. When he got home he hooked it all up and to his amazement it was fine. Matt worked on it all week, brought his boat down from his mom's and hooked the motor to it. When we woke up this morning he decided to take me and Missy for a boat ride. It was a little cool, but nice.
He even taught Missy how to drive, granted she did only take us around in circles, but she was super excited. When Missy was done he taught me how to drive too. I was a little scared at first, because I didn't want to hit anything. After I got the hang of it I was alright. We got a little cold so we came home. It was a way to spend the day!
